Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, a strong understanding of ITIL processes, and experience aligning platform capabilities with business requirements. You will play a strategic role in defining architecture, governance, and best practices for the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the architectural vision and roadmap for ServiceNow platform usage.
  • Lead the design and development of ServiceNow solutions including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and custom applications.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
  • Guide developers and administrators in building scalable, maintainable ServiceNow applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and third-party vendors to identify opportunities for automation and service improvement.
  • Establish platform governance, development standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, code audits, and performance tuning.
  • Stay current with new ServiceNow releases and features, and evaluate their potential use within the organization.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to ServiceNow development teams.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience in designing and architecting enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, ITSM, and enterprise service management principles.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as:
  • ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
  • ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management)
  • HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or other business applications.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages used in ServiceNow (JavaScript, Glide).
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using REST/SOAP, MID Server, etc.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as:
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Certified Technical Architect (CTA) [Preferred]

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and enterprise IT environments.
