Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Build and maintain CMDB configurations, CI classes, relationships, and data models.
• Discovery & Service Mapping: Implement and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for infrastructure visibility.
• Data Integrity: Ensure CMDB data accuracy through audits, health dashboards, and reconciliation rules.
• Integration: Develop integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and Import Sets.
• Automation: Create workflows and orchestration scripts to automate CMDB processes.
• Collaboration: Work with IT teams, application owners, and stakeholders to align CMDB with business services.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for CMDB architecture, integrations, and processes.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, including CI lifecycle, attributes, and relationships.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and IntegrationHub.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, etc.).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes—especially Configuration, Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Experience with data modeling, normalization, and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB development.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CMDB or Discovery).
• Knowledge of CSDM (Common Service Data Model).
• Experience with tools like SCCM, vCenter, AWS, Azure, SolarWinds, etc.
