Summary:
Provide overall direction and consulting for clients (e.g., payroll, shared services, benefits, compensation, recruiting, learning institute, HR business partners, etc.) to help understand processes, data needs and gaps for Service Now HR technology. Responsible for facilitating a process with the client and IS to recommend, define and implement technology solutions within the ServiceNow HR platform to meet business needs. Ensure all processes are managed from scope/requirements through testing, change management and implementation in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
Implement new Service Now HR system functionality. Responsible for working with clients to understand needs; facilitate a process that documents a high-level design that meets the client's needs as well as collaborate with IS to scope work and estimate resources and design/build a prototype solution.
Identify opportunities for systems improvements, tighter integration and simplified maintenance and maintain awareness of vendor plans and potential impact on current and future functionality. Participate in vendor user groups and in the assessment and selection of new technology solutions.
Maintain existing system functionality which includes maintaining stability, supporting system upgrades, troubleshooting, managing data integrity and setting parameters for security profiles. Create and maintain test scripts for system upgrades, execute test scripts, and resolve issues prior to implementing system upgrades. Identify and resolve ongoing system issues, open vendor tickets and monitor issues to satisfactory resolution.
Participate in the development and implementation of training programs related to new implementations or updates and apply project management practices to ensure appropriate communication with client and completion of work assigned in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
Program Management: Management of system upgrades and implementation of system functionality that optimize overall efficiency, maintain data accuracy, ensure compliance, and improve experience with user interface. Knowledge of Agile framework and structure to align schedule and deploy updates and new products into the ServiceNow HR ecosystem.
System Alignment: Partners with HR stakeholders and their teams to either maximize use of internal platforms and technology or establish a business case for new technology to advance service delivery and streamline processes while increasing efficiency and ensuring a positive user experience.
Decision-Making: In collaboration with upline leader, establishes protocols for escalation of people issues; establishes a cadence for visibility of performance areas and reporting expectations. Uses data-driven insights, analysis, and metrics (when possible) to inform decisions, make recommendations, and influence stakeholder alignment. Recommends enterprise program updates and collaborates with upline leader on final decision-making approach.
How You’ll Be Successful:
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 5+ years’ experience with administration of Service Now and/or related technology - required
EDUCATION
- Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience- required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- ServiceNow certification - CIS Certification - Certified HR Implementation Specialist - required
