Job Overview

As a ServiceNow Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions for the ServiceNow platform. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the overall design of large-scale enterprise applications using best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and socialize domain, architecture, and technical projects to stakeholders
  • Offer strategic recommendations on technical best practices and industry trends
  • Estimate and analyze the time required to design, develop, and implement technical solutions
  • Participate in business requirements meetings and provide a framework and inputs for developers
  • Prepare flows and workflows for overall solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and members of the platform team
  • Have in-depth knowledge of end-to-end ServiceNow modules and solutions
  • Interface with subject matter experts where required
  • Develop system documentation, including design documents, process flows, and secure development standards
  • Define the architecture of ServiceNow implementations and oversee their successful deployment
  • Host Design Authority meetings to review technical solutions
  • Propose integration methodologies with other systems as required
  • Develop Visio diagrams and high/low-level designs
  • Manage upgrade cycles
  • Evaluate and implement new release functionalities to add business value
  • Review instance performance and propose improvements to the end-user experience
  • Ensure all security and audit related activities are compliant with a SOC 2 environment

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow solutions
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an Enterprise environment with multiple integration points
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in architecting and deploying large-scale ServiceNow solutions
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL processes
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with web technologies
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with industry standard productivity tools (Excel, Visio)
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills
  • Experience collaborating with virtual teams across multiple regions
  • Experience using mainstream development methodologies (waterfall and agile)
  • Expert-level diagramming (Visio)
  • Natural communication skills: able to engage stakeholders, colleagues, and team members effectively
  • Experienced facilitator: prepare and facilitate interviews and workshops

Desirable Skills

  • Data Centre / Data Centre options experience
  • Experience delivering global, enterprise-wide deliverables

Certifications

  • ServiceNow – Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • ServiceNow – Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ITIL foundation
  • ServiceNow – Certified Implementation Specialist – (CIS-ITSM)

Preferred Certifications

  • ServiceNow – Certified Application Developer (CAD) – (CIS-ITSM)
