Job Description

The ServiceNow Lead Developer will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the ServiceNow platform, working closely with Product teams to drive development and guide the team in effective solution design and implementation approaches. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced developer to lead our ServiceNow efforts, overseeing the development and maintenance of the platform in alignment with strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the ServiceNow roadmap and strategy
  • Developing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform in line with strategic goals
  • Ensuring platform engineering and development standards are upheld
  • Evaluating demand for fit and alignment to products, identifying complex features requiring additional due diligence
  • Providing input and sign-off on solution design for complex features
  • Managing code quality control processes and routines
  • Leading and mentoring a team of developers assigned to specific ServiceNow products
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and assignments for the team, ensuring enterprise service level agreements are met, and participating in defect, incident, problem, and change review meetings and release activities
  • Providing escalation support for team members, peers, and partner teams, and serving as the leadership point of contact for high-priority incidents or consulting engagements
  • Performing all responsibilities of team members from applicable teams
  • Collaborating with relevant teams to establish alerts, monitoring, dashboards, and processes for new projects and initiatives
  • Participating in resource interviews and onboarding processes
