ServiceNow Application Developer

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow application developer to join our team.

• Design and develop custom applications and modules end-to-end utilizing ServiceNow App Engine.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate complex business requirements into clear, functional, and scalable technical solutions.
• Implement solutions following ServiceNow best practices for scripting, testing, and deployment.
• Write and optimize server-side scripting (Glide, JavaScript) and client-side scripts.
• Ensure the custom applications are maintainable, performant, and secure.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of dedicated hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with a strong focus on custom application development leveraging ServiceNow App Engine. They will possess expert-level scripting skills in JavaScript and ServiceNow's Glide API, as well as proven experience with advanced ServiceNow platform configuration, customization, and comprehensive troubleshooting across various modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Build integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and other web services protocols.
• Develop Service Portal features using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
• Work effectively within Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.

Requirements

• Dedicated hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Expert-level scripting skills in JavaScript and ServiceNow's Glide API.
• Proven experience with advanced ServiceNow platform configuration, customization, and comprehensive troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of the ServiceNow data model and CMDB.
• Experience working effectively within Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
