Job Title: ServiceNow Administrator

Location: Troy, MI

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to support our client’s ServiceNow platform operations in Troy, MI. This role is strictly focused on administration—including configuration, user management, workflow maintenance, system health monitoring, and access control. You will ensure optimal platform performance, handle day-to-day admin tasks, and support ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user and group access, roles, ACLs, and UI policies.
  • Manage ServiceNow updates, patching, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain configuration items (CIs) and relationships within the CMDB.
  • Create and manage catalog items, forms, workflows, and notifications within defined limits.
  • Assist with ServiceNow data imports and exports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure ServiceNow aligns with business and IT needs.
  • Document administrative procedures and provide support for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Manage service accounts, scheduled jobs, and SLAs.
  • Provide support to end-users and serve as the first line of support for ServiceNow issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
  • Solid understanding of core ServiceNow modules: Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Catalog.
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform administration including user management, groups, roles, and ACLs.
  • Familiarity with platform upgrades and update sets.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a large enterprise or regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Discovery, or Integration Hub (administration-level knowledge only).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., for troubleshooting business rules or client scripts) is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,274.63 - $93,061.92 per year
