Lead Engineer Java & ServiceNow Integration

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer with strong expertise in Java development, connector building, and ServiceNow (SN) application integration. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives, architect scalable solutions, and mentor a team of engineers in delivering enterprise-grade integrations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Java-based connectors for integrating with ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
• Ensure compliance with security and performance standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java, including frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience building custom connectors and APIs.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and scripting (e.g., Glide, Business Rules, UI Policies).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
