Position: ServiceNow Systems Administrator Location: Pickering, ON - Hybrid (3 days remote / 2 days onsite) Job Type: 14-month contract Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a ServiceNow System Administrator to step into a high-impact, hybrid role that drives real transformation. Core Responsibilities:
- Platform Administration: Ensure ongoing health, performance, and security of the ServiceNow platform.
- User & Role Management: Maintain user accounts, access controls, and role-based permissions.
- ITIL Process Support: Enable and support Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Release Management workflows.
- CMDB Maintenance: Manage and maintain the CMDB for accuracy and integrity, leveraging Discovery tools.
- Customization & Configuration: Build and maintain workflows, UI policies, client/server scripts, business rules, and custom applications.
- Integration Support: Assist with integration projects between ServiceNow and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
- Automated Test Framework (ATF): Support test automation to ensure platform stability after deployments and upgrades.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience
- Solid understanding and practical experience with CMDB and related ITOM processes
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Performance Analytics
- Familiarity with multiple ServiceNow modules including ITSM, HRSD, SAM, HAM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM
- Expertise with core modules: Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and Service Catalog
- Strong JavaScript skills; working knowledge of HTML, CSS, AngularJS considered an asset
- Understanding of relational databases and data structures
- Solid grasp of ITIL frameworks (ITIL certification is a plus)
- Proficiency with roles, ACLs, and security permissions in ServiceNow
- Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party systems
