ServiceNow Tester

Job Requirements

Hands-on testing experience in ServiceNow.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, REST Assured, or similar.
• Experience in API testing, UI automation, and data validation.
• Familiarity with remote monitoring systems and industrial equipment data flows is plus.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
• Proficient in test management tools like Jira, Rally, and Confluence.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and participation in sprint ceremonies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities:

Manual Testing (50%)

• Demonstrates a strong passion for understanding the business and technical domain, recognizing that deep domain knowledge is key to effective and meaningful testing.
• Analyse business and system requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Validate data accuracy and system behaviour in real-time monitoring dashboards.
• Log, track, and verify defects using tools like Rally.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure test coverage and quality.

Automation Testing (50%)

• Design and implement automated test scripts for web and API layers.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Generate and analyse test reports, ensuring timely feedback to the development team.
• Contribute to test strategy and automation roadmap for scalable QA practices.
