Higher Education ServiceNow Platform Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented ServiceNow Administrator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for administering and maintaining client ServiceNow platforms, ensuring stability and performance.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong desire to understand higher education processes and has a deep knowledge of ServiceNow.

About the Role:

• Administer and maintain client ServiceNow platforms ensuring stability and performance.
• Perform day-to-day administration tasks including user and group management access control and system configurations.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Implement and manage ServiceNow updates and patches.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows business rules UI policies and scripts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules including ITSM CSM and CMDB.
• Proficiency in JavaScript HTML and CSS.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
