Job Title: ServiceNow Specialist, Configuration Management Database

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow specialist to join our team as a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) expert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining CMDB health through normalization, reconciliation, and data certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement ServiceNow modules including CMDB, HAM, Discovery, and Service Mapping
• Customize and enhance platform capabilities using best practices (e.g., scripting, automation, APIs)
• Build integrations with external systems (e.g., Ariba, cloud services, messaging platforms)
• Map and enforce CSDM standards across all modules and business services
• Support the creation and execution of test cases for UAT, SIT, and production validation
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and client SMEs to capture requirements and propose solutions
• Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and support materials
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and ensure alignment with architectural standards
• Participate in deployment planning, cutover support, and post-go-live stabilization

Preferred Qualifications:

• ~8+ years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB development
• ~ ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CMDB or Discovery)
• ~ Knowledge of CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• ~ Experience with tools like SCCM, vCenter, AWS, Azure, SolarWinds, etc.
