ServiceNow Business Applications Developer

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team in Ashburn, Virginia. This position will involve participating in the development and implementation of ServiceNow business applications.

The incumbent will be a key member of the engineering team by supporting all software development activities under the direction of the Software Engineer Lead. We work within an agile software development process and expect you to have an important impact on the features and services provided.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with team members and internal stakeholders to define and document development requirements and scope of new development requests
• Supporting release of applications through research, technical analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting
• Designing reports and dashboards

• Experience with JavaScript and SQL

• Understands web development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
• Exceptional debugging, unit testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Required qualifications:

• U.S. Customs and Border Protection Public Trust Clearance
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Bootstrap
