As a skilled ServiceNow Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving business success by designing and deploying innovative solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Your primary responsibility will be to align the ServiceNow platform capabilities with the organization's strategic objectives and roadmap, ensuring seamless integration of technology with business needs.
To achieve this, you will develop, test, and implement new features and functionalities on the ServiceNow platform, leveraging your expertise in ITSM and ITOM disciplines. Your strong technical abilities and sound understanding of ITIL processes will enable you to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Additionally, you will assist the Platform Support team in other development efforts as needed, utilizing your experience working on Scrum teams and hands-on ITOM Discovery skills.
This role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure and application architecture, as well as excellent ServiceNow development skills. Responsibilities:
- Align ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap
- Develop, test, and implement new capabilities on the ServiceNow platform
- Assist with ServiceNow upgrades, action skipped changes, and create/run tests
- Stay current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies
Requirements:
- 3+ years as a ServiceNow Developer with experience developing in the following areas:
- ITSM: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog
- ITOM: Event Management, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping
- Service Portals
- Flow Designer, Workflow, Virtual Agent Topics, Integration Hub
- Scoped Applications
- Test Management and ATF
- Application integrations using APIs, web services, scripts, transform maps, etc.
- 2+ years as member of an Agile, Scrum, or Kanban team
- 1+ years as an ITOM Administrator
- Broad general knowledge of IT infrastructure topology including typical application, server, and networking configurations
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework especially as it pertains to the CMDB model and governance
- Comprehension of the ServiceNow CSDM model
- Strong communication skills that include the ability to write clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of database fundamentals
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (not required):
- CSM: Case Management, Agent Workspace, Communities
- Performance Analytics, Dashboards
