Sr. ServiceNow Engineer Hybrid Remote/Onsite in Baltimore, MD

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of ServiceNow platform solutions to meet enterprise business needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices, hands-on development experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and IT strategies.
• Develop and implement new ServiceNow modules, workflows, and applications including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and/or SecOps.
• Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide level-3 support for complex incidents and requests.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and tools using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and other integration methods.
• Maintain platform health by monitoring performance, performing upgrades, and ensuring compliance with governance and security policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units to gather requirements, drive adoption, and continuously improve the ServiceNow environment.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices and technical standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and support materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform administration and development.
• Proven expertise in one or more of the following modules: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or GRC.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide, HTML/CSS, and ServiceNow scripting APIs.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Service Portal, Performance Analytics, and CMDB.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; Certified Application Developer (CAD) and other advanced certifications preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
