Role: - ServiceNow Engineer

Location: 1st preference Walnut Creek, CA 2 days onsite until September and starting October -3 days onsite per week ( Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

2nd preference: Phoenix, AZ (Tempe)

Duration: 4 Months CTH

Interview Process: 2 Rounds

Top Skills:

  • Senior ServiceNow Engineer with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in ITSM- service now Module experience
  • CMDB, Service now Discovery-(ITOM and Discovery)
  • ITSM, ITOM, Discovery and CMDB is must have
  • Proficient in service now Architecture and coding base experience.
  • Experience in implementation and resolving issues.
  • Experience in JavaScript- must have strong scripting experience and integration experience.
  • This role is more of a Technical SME will interact with users.

Day to Day duties:

  • Daily Scrum stand ups to align on items and stories assigned to them
  • There will be Coding stories and spike stories with technical solutions
  • Documentation and Code reviews with teammates.
  • CMDB Related stories
  • Responsible for enhancements, discovery, and Integrations.
  • Lead or participate in all aspects of the ServiceNow software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Development, Quality Assurance, Deployment, Training and Operational Support.
  • Creation of system documentation for software development and quality assurance processes.
  • Configuration, integration, custom development and other hands-on technical activities related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Design, build and configure scalable solutions with a clear understanding of dependencies, connections and risks.
  • influence solution design and approach to minimize customizations and technical debt.
  • Develop new and support existing integrations with other applications and 3rd party tools.
  • Proactively identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Management of technical projects.
  • Configuration management and CMDB support.
  • Business intelligence analysis and reporting.
  • Level 3 support for escalated issues.

Certification:

  • Service Now certification in admin Must have
  • Service application developer- Nice to have
  • CMDB Cert - nice to have

Education:

Bachelor s degree -Ideally if not open to high school diploma +9years of experience to be considered
