Enterprise ServiceNow Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the definition and evolution of our enterprise ServiceNow architecture strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment with enterprise IT and business goals, guiding platform design decisions across all ServiceNow domains, and providing expert-level technical oversight.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Comerica's business domain-specific processes, supporting applications, integrations & dependencies, security model, technology constraints & limitations. They will analyze business drivers that determine key architecture requirements and drive strategic domain-specific initiatives and programs from a technology perspective.

In addition, the ServiceNow Architect will perform technical architecture planning activities, facilitate and develop architectural standards for key technologies, mentor Agile/DevOps practices and procedures among domain teams, and facilitate the development and evolution of the architecture and global governance processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead or support enterprise capability definition aligned with business strategy.
• Provide technical/business consulting to internal IS organizations and client-sponsored activities outside of IS.
• Maintain awareness of vendor/product industry developments, regulations and trends and identify potential impacts to the enterprise.
• Design and oversee efforts in building effective bank-specific Proof of Concept demonstrations.
• Evaluate and recommend new ServiceNow features, platform capabilities, and ecosystem tools to drive innovation and business value.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, governance teams, and program managers on platform strategy, risks, and architectural decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering or in a Technology related field, OR equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology experience, OR 12 years of technology experience.
• 7 years of experience identifying technical solutions for complex business problems.
• 6 years of Architect experience.
• 6 years of experience leading large complex technology projects.
• 5 years of experience mentoring other technologists.
• 5 years of experience architecting enterprise-scale ServiceNow platforms.
