Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Overview of the Role
- We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer with strong technical abilities, a sound understanding of ITIL processes, experience working on a Scrum team, hands-on ITOM Discovery experience, and excellent ServiceNow development skills.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in developing in various areas such as ITSM, ITOM, Service Portals, Flow Designer, Workflow, Virtual Agent Topics, Integration Hub, Scoped Applications, Test Management and ATF, Application integrations using APIs, web services, scripts, transform maps, etc.
Additionally, the candidate should have experience working as a member of an Agile, Scrum, or Kanban team, ITOM Administrator, broad general knowledge of IT infrastructure topology including typical application, server, and networking configurations, comprehension of the ServiceNow CSDM model, and strong communication skills that include the ability to write clearly and concisely.
Preferred Experience includes CSAM Case Management, Agent Workspace, Communities, Performance Analytics, Dashboards, Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience), ServiceNow System Administration, and various certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ITIL Foundations, ServiceNow Discovery Fundamentals, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, ITIL SACM, CCNA or equivalent, MCSA, RHCSA (Microsoft, RedHat).
Key Responsibilities include aligning ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap, developing, testing, and implementing new capabilities on the ServiceNow platform, assisting with ServiceNow upgrades, action skipped changes, creating/run tests, and staying current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies.
Requirements include possession of 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, strong technical abilities, experience working on a Scrum team, hands-on ITOM Discovery experience, excellent ServiceNow development skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
