Day-to-Day Responsibilities As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer, you will be dedicated to enhancing user experiences, optimizing processes, and uncovering low-code opportunities for various stakeholders. Your expertise in process improvement will be pivotal in enhancing the functionality of the ServiceNow platform.
In this role, you will:
- Enhance User Experience: Create and execute user-centered workflows on the ServiceNow platform to provide an intuitive user experience.
- Optimize Processes: Utilize your process engineering skills to streamline workflows, thereby increasing operational efficiency.
- Develop Low-Code Solutions: Work in tandem with business stakeholders to pinpoint and create low-code solutions that address specific needs.
- Facilitate Feedback and Adoption: Establish avenues for end-users to share insights, fostering adoption of ServiceNow solutions across the organization.
- Provide Training and Support: Equip end-users with the knowledge and support they need, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Apply Best Practices: Stay informed on the latest platform releases and solutions, implement ITIL/ITSM best practices, and prioritize quality assurance and security in all work.
- Support Team and Troubleshoot Issues: Contribute to resolving production challenges, managing your time efficiently while working independently to meet deadlines.
Qualifications We Seek
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 8+ years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years dedicated to ServiceNow UX design and user interface development.
- 5+ years of crafting ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives.
- 8+ years of delivering IT solutions supporting business initiatives.
- Expertise in ITIL/ITSM standards, specifically for service catalog, knowledge base, and access management.
- Experience maximizing employee efficiency and engagement with full ITSM Pro capabilities.
- Proven track record in delivering consistent user experiences across various platforms.
- Strong background in workflow engineering with an emphasis on both white-glove and low-code approaches.
- Skilled in automation and integrations, including Integration Hub and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Experience in delivering solutions using Agile methodologies.
- Certified System Administrator Required.
- IT Service Management Certification Preferred.
- Certified Application Developer Preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements The role's physical requirements include daily data analysis, communication, and prolonged sitting while frequently accessing and retrieving information from a computer and other office productivity tools. You may need to move within the office and across the corporate campus, including occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements Travel up to 10% may be necessary for visits to other sites, including out-of-state, as needed for business purposes.
