We are seeking a talented Senior ServiceNow Developer who possesses deep expertise in ServiceNow development and a strong grasp of contemporary engineering practices. This position is perfect for those who are adept in the ServiceNow platform, encompassing custom application development, scripting, and integration, as well as have a keen understanding of engineering tools that bolster automation and integration in a cloud-first environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create scalable, maintainable solutions across various ServiceNow products and modules.
- Develop and manage custom applications and scripted REST APIs within the ServiceNow platform.
- Work closely with Product Management and stakeholders to grasp business challenges and develop effective, user-centered solutions.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and tools for seamless interoperability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including grooming, refinement, and retrospectives.
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and peers.
- Monitor and support deployed solutions to ensure they maintain performance, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
- Remain informed of platform capabilities, industry trends, and best practices, and disseminate insights to the broader engineering community. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior ServiceNow Developer with extensive platform knowledge.
- Strong expertise in custom application development, scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITSM best practices.
- Experience managing code releases and deployments using scoped applications and automated pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
- Awareness of AWS engineering practices and ability to work alongside cloud-native teams.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or integration tasks is a strong plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of experience; or equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
