Position Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to take the lead in our ServiceNow implementation. As the primary resource for our ServiceNow instance, you will be pivotal in both development and administration, ensuring the platform's performance aligns with our business objectives. We prefer leveraging out-of-the-box solutions, with custom development limited to essential needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical resource for the ServiceNow platform, managing both development and administration tasks.
  • Implement and configure ServiceNow modules based on business requirements, focusing on out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and more while minimizing custom code.
  • Carry out system administration tasks, including user and group management, security configuration, data management, and instance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and other departments to gather requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of ServiceNow upgrades and enhancements.
  • Create and maintain platform documentation, including configuration guides and process workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues, providing prompt support to end-users.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow best practices and enhancements to continually improve the platform.
  • Contribute to the governance and maintenance of the ServiceNow environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a comprehensive understanding of the platform's architecture and development best practices.
  • Experience in ServiceNow administration tasks including user management, security, and system configuration.
  • Solid grasp of ITIL principles and their application within ServiceNow.
  • Experience with core ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies related to ServiceNow development, with a focus on minimizing custom coding.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, taking ownership of the ServiceNow platform.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry and knowledge of relevant regulations such as HIPAA is a plus.
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are highly desirable.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40

Time Type: Full-time

Pay Range: Typical Pay Range for this Role is $79,310.00 - $158,620.00. This range represents the base hourly rate or base annual salary for all positions in the job grade this position falls under. Actual pay will depend on factors such as experience, education, location, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive in addition to the base pay.
