About the Job
Vaco is seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Developer to join our IT Service Management team. As a key member of our team, you will help design, implement, and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB to support IT and business goals.
- Work closely with teams across IT, including Application, Network, Server, and Architecture groups, to ensure configuration items (CIs) and services are accurately captured, maintained, and used effectively.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for CMDB governance, configuration items, and ServiceNow discovery.
- Partner with ITSM, ITAM, and platform teams to align with broader ServiceNow strategy.
- Monitor and maintain CMDB data integrity through audits, certifications, and policy enforcement.
- Support projects, manage configurations, and provide stakeholder training.
- Continuously improve auto-discovery processes and ensure alignment with ITIL best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with ServiceNow configuration and discovery tools (e.g., SCCM, BigFix, ServiceNow Discovery).
- Solid understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow System Administrator certification.
- ServiceNow Micro Certifications (CMDB Health, Configure CMDB).
