Join ISHPI as a ServiceNow Developer and play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DON) information technology systems. As part of NIWC Atlantic Software Services, you will contribute to the development, engineering, and maintenance of systems that improve organizational effectiveness.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing new solutions or re-engineering existing ones to enhance automated functionalities.
• Implementing code and maintaining thorough documentation to support software development actions.
• Ensuring interoperability within ServiceNow low code platforms.

Qualifications:

Education: A BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience will be considered.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in software development technologies. You should have:

• Successfully translated application requirements into functional software solutions.
• Participated in design discussions and code reviews.
• Developed and maintained unit tests for all functionalities.
• Reviewed code and data for security vulnerabilities.
• Experience assisting in database construction adhering to best practices.

Preferred candidates will also have prior Navy-related experience.

Essential skills include expertise in planning, requirements gathering, and utilizing Agile methodologies within the software development life cycle (SDLC). Experience with low code platforms like Appian or ServiceNow, including process modeling and debugging is highly desirable. Proficiency in standard scripting and object-oriented programming languages such as Java, SQL, and HTML is essential.

Additionally, you must hold a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, or be willing to obtain one within 4 months. Acceptable certifications include CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.

Security Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance are required.

Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000, dependent on experience, education, and market factors.
