We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer with a deep expertise in ServiceNow development and a robust understanding of modern engineering practices. This role is perfect for individuals who excel within the ServiceNow platform, including custom application development, scripting, and integration, and who are also aware of engineering tools and practices that support broader automation and integration efforts in an AWS-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create scalable, maintainable solutions across various ServiceNow products and modules.
  • Build and manage custom applications and scripted REST APIs within ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and stakeholders to comprehend business challenges and deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and tools to ensure seamless interoperability.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as grooming, refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and peers.
  • Monitor and support deployed solutions, ensuring their performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Stay updated with platform capabilities, industry trends, and best practices, and share insights with the engineering community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior ServiceNow Developer with extensive platform knowledge.
  • Strong expertise in custom application development, scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITSM best practices.
  • Experience managing code releases and deployments using scoped applications and automated pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Awareness of AWS engineering practices and ability to collaborate with cloud-native teams.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or integration tasks is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and at least 4 years' experience in a relevant field. Alternative combinations such as a master's degree with 2 years' experience, a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience, or 16 years' experience in a related field are also acceptable.

Compensation: The salary ranges from $99,000.00 to $165,000.00, and may vary based on the location and the selected candidate's qualifications. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including an incentive program.

Benefits: The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take unlimited paid vacation days, alongside seven paid holidays throughout the year.
