Job Title: ServiceNow Architect
Location: Chandler, Arizona
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Overview
Client is an innovative leader in delivering world-class IT service management solutions. We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance ServiceNow solutions for our enterprise clients.
In this role, you’ll serve as the technical authority for ServiceNow architecture, collaborating with business leaders, developers, and stakeholders to design solutions that optimize IT operations, drive automation, and create measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, and related modules.
Strategic Planning: Define architectural roadmaps aligned with client business needs and future platform evolution.
Customization & Configuration: Oversee module configuration, workflow automation, and customization following best practices.
Integration Design: Architect integrations with third-party systems (LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, cloud services, APIs) to ensure seamless interoperability.
Leadership & Mentorship: Guide development teams, enforce coding standards, and promote architectural consistency.
Platform Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance, scalability, and usability improvements, optimizing CMDB structure and workflows.
Governance & Security: Establish governance, data management, and access control frameworks to maintain compliance and platform integrity.
Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending solutions that maximize ServiceNow value.
Documentation: Produce architecture diagrams, workflow documentation, and technical implementation guides.
Upgrades & Enhancements: Manage platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new features.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in ServiceNow solution design/implementation, including 3+ years in an architect or lead role.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and CMDB.
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules).
Integration experience with REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, MID Server.
Experience with Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence.
ITIL Knowledge: Strong understanding of ITIL processes and mapping them into ServiceNow.
Leadership: Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and influencing stakeholders.
Certifications (Preferred):
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
Preferred Skills
Experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Orchestration, Event Management).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their integration with ServiceNow.
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
Experience with large-scale ServiceNow deployments and platform governance.
