Job Title: ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB Professional Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and reliable data for IT service management processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB solutions, with a strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. They will be able to integrate the CSDM and CMDB with third-party tools and systems to provide a comprehensive view of the IT landscape.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across IT and the business to understand data requirements and map them to the CSDM and CMDB. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining data governance processes to ensure the integrity and quality of CSDM and CMDB data.

You will be required to stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and new features, recommending enhancements to optimize the CSDM and CMDB. Additionally, you will participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve IT service delivery and support organizational objectives. Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Service Mapping or Asset Management preferred
• 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB solutions
• Proficiency in ServiceNow platform configuration, including workflows, business rules, and UI policies
• Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices, ITIL certification Benefits
