Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Configuring software across various technical areas, ensuring seamless integration and efficient performance.
• Analyzing business requirements and developing technical specifications to foster innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
• Designing, developing, and deploying application modules, workflows, and catalog requests, leveraging expertise in ServiceNow.
• Pioneering ServiceNow-based solutions for clients, delivering tailored applications that exceed expectations.
• Spearheading the development and sustainment of a software development environment, embracing cutting-edge methodologies like Continuous Deployment, Agile, and DevOps.
• Developing, documenting, testing, and debugging applications software, upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence.
• Conducting multidisciplinary research and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Cloud-based capabilities for software development, modification, and deployment.
• Analyzing user needs and software requirements, determining feasibility within time and cost constraints, while ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Consulting with systems analysts, engineers, and cross-functional teams to design software and gather information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
• Providing support to the Chief Enterprise Architect, Release Train Engineer, Senior Leadership, and the client regarding software development best practices.
• Ensuring high customer satisfaction and compliance with all government and corporate policies, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in AS/AA or equivalent; 8 years of experience in BS/BA or equivalent; 6 years of experience in MS/MA or equivalent; 3 years of experience in PhD or equivalent.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering customer implementations of ServiceNow-based applications.
• Ability to guide customers through understanding technical solutions to their business requirements.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, Java, JavaScript, ITIL, and ServiceNow.
• Experience with modern JavaScript Libraries (Angular, Backbone, Marionette, Require, jQuery).
• Expert-level HTML/CSS skills.
• Experience in implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, SOAP, REST, and integrations with external systems.
• Excellent documentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with teams across geographical locations.
• Ability to participate in video meetings as required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain/maintain any additional security access required for the position.
