Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and leverage ServiceNow best practices with a focus on configuration versus customization.
- Support engagements by defining, re-engineering, improving and analyzing current/future-state processes during workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders.
- Advise customers in utilizing ServiceNow Solution's standard capabilities to improve their processes.
- Lead customer design workshops focused on ServiceNow Platform and Solution technology.
- Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy and knowledge transfer while supporting customers in reviewing and approving them.
- Guide customers in completing required documentation such as business requirement workbooks for technical aspects of the solution.
- Provide ad-hoc oversight/training for the customer's future system administrators throughout the engagement.
- Lead technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery for engagements, providing oversight and unit testing of partner resources development.
- Be a lead member of an overall engagement project team focused on delivering successful and substantive customer outcomes.
- Develop required integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.) with multiple systems.
- Develop and enhance UI and mobile components using the ServiceNow framework.
- Prepare all customer-facing deliverables focused on the technology and responsible for quality of configured/developed solution.
- Juggle multiple and complex projects/initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement practices for delivery/engagement materials.
- Support specific sales activities when required.
- Provide training and mentoring to other members of the ServiceNow delivery team and partner ecosystem upon request.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 8 years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- At least 3 years of configuration/development experience in complex, global organizations in the Finance, Supply Chain and/or Source-to-Pay operations/technology departments.
- Preferably at least 2 years of configuring/developing ServiceNow while holding ServiceNow certifications such as a current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification, and Finance & Supply Chain related Solution Accreditations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult in Finance, Supply Chain and/or Source-to-Pay organizations, while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems.
- Strong understanding with leading Finance, Supply Chain and/or Source-to-Pay related systems and tools such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Oracle Procurement Cloud, etc.
- Experience with Web Technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO, etc.) and working with SaaS technologies.
- Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies.
- Proven experience in team management and software project execution.
- Solid technical knowledge in package applications.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
