Job Description
At footbridge-federal, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow development best practices, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities
- ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, test, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform to address business needs and enhance operational efficiency. Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations using ServiceNow APIs and scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript).
- Module Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in multiple ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Asset Management, Service Catalog, Incident Management, and Change Management. Provide guidance on module-specific best practices and configurations.
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical requirements, and propose innovative solutions leveraging ServiceNow capabilities.
- Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure ServiceNow applications to align with organizational processes and requirements. Implement UI customizations, form layouts, and workflow automation to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using web services, REST APIs, and middleware technologies. Ensure seamless data exchange and integration across disparate systems.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, technical diagrams, and deployment guides. Maintain documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and support ongoing maintenance efforts.
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. Troubleshoot and debug issues as needed, applying systematic problem-solving techniques.
- Security and Compliance: Adhere to security best practices and compliance standards, especially those relevant to sensitive government environments. Implement security controls and measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
