Description

Serve as the primary developer for our upcoming ServiceNow implementation. Responsible for developing, configuring, supporting, testing, and implementing ServiceNow elements. You will work closely with our incumbent development staff to help familiarize them with the ServiceNow application development environment and provide reporting activities to the software engineer. Candidate will also assist with migration efforts to bring application data from our legacy custom-developed system to ServiceNow.

• Assist functional teams building and deploying UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Business Rules, Workflow Scripts, Scheduled Jobs and Transform Maps.
• Collaborate with customer and internal teams to validate technical requirements.
• Design and develop 3rd party integration with ServiceNow using approaches common to ServiceNow.
• Act as a best practices agent in monitoring and reporting on the health, performance, and compliance of the core ServiceNow platform as well as custom solutions.
• Perform individual and peer code reviews to ensure that the quality is being met regarding coding standards, integration, and security.
• Assist in maintaining detailed documentation of application design and code generation techniques used to train other developers on ServiceNow system software.
• Provide recommendations to the customer on extending ServiceNow platform capabilities with available modules from the vendor.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration experience in an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of SDLC methodology within Agile and DoD environments.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer strongly preferred.
• Experience with Jira, GitLab/GitHub, VSCode, and MS SQL also preferred.
• Must be able to obtain or have a DoD Secret clearance.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
