We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Product Lead for ServiceNow to guide the design, development, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform. In this role, you’ll balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities.

As the Lead, you will set the technical direction for platform capabilities, ensure adherence to best practices, and partner with business and IT leadership to align ServiceNow solutions with strategic priorities. You’ll also play a key role in planning major initiatives, driving process improvements, and fostering innovation across the enterprise.

We hire the best and the brightest from across the country – constructing a team of experts in architecture, design, engineering, project management, and business services. A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for the ServiceNow platform, guiding architecture, design, and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and task oversight to developers and administrators, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional growth.
  • Partner with the IT leadership and the business to define the ServiceNow roadmap and align development priorities with organizational objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and platform vendors to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Lead the design, development, and customization of ServiceNow applications (ITSM, HR, Project Management, CMDB, etc.), including advanced scripting, automation, and workflow orchestration.
  • Oversee platform governance, ensuring configurations follow best practices and are maintainable, scalable, and secure.
  • Conduct regular platform health checks and performance tuning to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
  • Implement and enforce role-based access controls, security policies, and compliance measures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote platform adoption.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years of ServiceNow development experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior technical role.
  • Proven expertise in ITSM, Project Management, CMDB, and automation within ServiceNow.
  • Strong architectural understanding of ServiceNow modules, development tools, and integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and scripting for ServiceNow; experience with REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, project oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Up to 10% as needed.
