Software Developer - ServiceNow Applications

Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications. As a seasoned Web Developer, you will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for analysis, design, engineering, development, and implementation of software projects within the ServiceNow platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop core functionalities ITSM applications and create new applications with a deep understanding of system integration needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into solutions ensuring seamless project execution.
• Provide technical leadership perform peer code reviews and ensure best practices are followed driving quality and efficiency.
• Design develop test document and implement application systems according to requirements and standards.
• Respond to production issues with prompt resolutions minimizing downtime and maximizing user experience.
• Manage ServiceNow code quality administration and platform development using Agile methodologies fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Review requirements for clarity and completeness ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in meetings to identify risks and support project tasks promoting proactive risk management.
• Work with various teams and stakeholders to understand impacts on processes ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Design testing strategies for development QA and UAT phases ensuring comprehensive testing and quality assurance.
• Customize ServiceNow applications forms workflows and interfaces to support ITIL processes streamlining business operations.
• Develop solutions for business problems based on user specifications driving business growth and improvement.
• Follow project management methodologies ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Experience in IT or business environments with a strong understanding of software development principles.
• Knowledge of HTML5 Bootstrap CSS is highly desired.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Admin is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Performance Analytics Discovery and Asset Management is an asset.
• Understanding of software development principles and at least one programming language.
• Basic understanding of the technical and business environment.
• ITIL Foundations Certification is highly desired.
• Experience with ServiceNow Geneva Patch 5 or later is required.
• Strong programming analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication negotiation and partnering skills.
• Ability to manage projects and work effectively in a team environment.
