The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting applications on the ServiceNow platform.
Key responsibilities include building and improving applications, developing scoped apps, flows, service requests, ACLs, widgets, integrations, and email notifications.
Additionally, the successful candidate will create reports, views, and dashboards in ServiceNow, work closely with customers to understand their needs and turn them into technical solutions.
The position also requires providing input on project planning and implementation based on technical understanding, addressing issues in ServiceNow and supporting users in resolving them.
Furthermore, the developer will test and update customizations during platform upgrades, train users and promote awareness of ServiceNow capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications for the position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
The ideal candidate should have experience with the ServiceNow platform and a solid understanding of ITIL practices.
Familiarity with ServiceNow APIs such as GlideRecord, GlideAjax and other server/client-side scripting tools is also required.
Proficiency in scripting using JavaScript, along with working knowledge of HTML and CSS is necessary.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical details to various audiences are essential.
A problem-solving mentality, using experience, research skills and available tools is also important.
Experience in at least three areas: Incident, Change or Release Management Knowledge Management Service Portal or Employee Center Asset or Configuration Management Reports, Dashboards or Performance Analytics is desired.
Finally, the candidate must be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
