WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Jr-Mid Level ServiceNow Business Analyst to perform high-level functional analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation in support of ServiceNow priorities. The individual will lead requirements management and elaboration activities, translate business needs into technical requirements, and ensure alignment with Agile, SDLC, and release management processes. Responsibilities include facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing and grooming the ServiceNow product backlog, supporting release planning and management, and developing SOPs and related documentation. This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders to define and refine requirements, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to either team-based or independent work environments to meet deliverable schedules. The position supports large enterprise applications within the federal government sector and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Years Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of job-relevant Business Analyst experience in enterprise or government environments.

Minimum years 2 of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform functionality, configuration, and backlog management.
Experience
-
Proven experience gathering and/or writing business requirements for large enterprise applications in the federal government sector, including visual mock-ups, use cases, shall statements, or user stories

Full lifecycle experience with SDLC and Agile Scrum development methodologies

Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) and other collaborative meetings

Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for development teams

Experience creating SOPs, documentation, and integration artifacts

Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to define, refine, and validate requirements

Ability to work independently or within a team environment to meet deliverables and schedules
Preferred, but not required:
◦ Experience with ServiceNow release planning and management activities
◦ Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules beyond ITSM (e.g., ITBM, ITOM, HRSD)
◦ Familiarity with federal IT compliance and documentation standards
◦ Experience with process modeling and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
