Job Description:
- Lead the integration of UX design principles throughout the ServiceNow development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment.
- Establish and enforce UX standards and policies to create a cohesive and consistent user experience across more than 30 ServiceNow modules, including the Service Catalog (180+ services).
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing with business and technical stakeholders to inform design decisions.
- Translate research insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
- Monitor production modules, gather user feedback, and implement improvements to enhance application usability.
- Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries to support scalable and consistent user experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align user needs with business goals.
- Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions to drive innovation.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design standards.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of design excellence.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of dedicated UI/UX experience, with at least 3 years on the ServiceNow platform preferred. We will consider candidates with extensive experience (5-6 years) on a similar SaaS platform who are heavy on UX.
- Proficiency in designing, creating standards, and streamlining user experience across various modules.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, wireframing, and information architecture.
- Experience in a lead or SME capacity on a UI/UX team.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and ServiceNow best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey UX strategies to stakeholders and development teams.
