Job Title: ServiceNow Developer – ITOM Discovery, CMDB & Service Mapping Location: Fully Onsite (New Jersey, Tampa-FL, Tempe-AZ) Duration: 6 Months Experience Required: 6–8 Years Competency: ServiceNow

Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITOM Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical and functional understanding of ServiceNow, strong implementation experience, and the ability to work across hybrid environments (On-Prem, AWS, Azure).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping solutions.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
• Deploy and manage Discovery across On-Prem, AWS, and Azure environments.
• Enhance or create custom discovery patterns to support unique business needs.
• Implement and manage Service Mapping aligned with the CSDM framework.
• Integrate ServiceNow with cloud provisioning tools (AWS, Azure).
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow APIs, Workflows, Flow Designer, and advanced configurations (UI Pages, UI Policies, Macros, Business/Client Scripts, etc.).
• Implement REST API integrations with third-party tools such as Intune, SCCM, Tanium, Qualys, VMware.
• Build custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Leverage ServiceNow Orchestration to automate IT processes.
• Support Performance Analytics and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure effective discovery and mapping.

Essential Skills

• 6–8 years of hands-on technical experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping.
• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development (custom applications, modules, workflows).
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables, and relationships.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Strong knowledge of network, infrastructure, and application inter-relationships.
• Expertise with JavaScript, Angular.js, Perl, PowerShell.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
• Exposure to .NET development and SQL Server backend.
• Knowledge of automation/orchestration beyond standard workflows.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.02 - $54.22 per hour

Work Location: On the road
