ServiceNow IT Workflow Expert

A dynamic and results-driven ServiceNow IT workflow expert sought to drive business growth through strategic IT solutions.

  • As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow IT workflow solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT operations management processes and tools within the organization's infrastructure.
  • Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing IT operations, enhancing service delivery, and improving overall business performance.
    • Develop and implement technical implementation and migration plans based on business requirements and industry standards.
  • Configure and customize the ServiceNow ITSM platform (business rules, UI policies, workflows, playbooks, tables, etc.) to meet requirements.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems to enable seamless communication and data exchange using APIs and data loads.
  • Experience with scripting/complex workflows, portal widgets, and Angular is essential.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow IT workflow functionality and integrations.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in IT workflow and ServiceNow platform to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask; sets priorities and follows timelines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, focusing on solving problems, managing roadblocks, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow developer.
  • 3+ years of experience with configuration management, CSM, Discovery, Event Management & Service Mapping in the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proficiency in scripting, including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Angular.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow framework and good understanding of UI Scripting, UI Action, UI Policy, UI Macro, Business Rules, Workflow development, ServiceNow administration, Reporting in ServiceNow, SQL, Database view in ServiceNow.
  • Working with creation and customization of core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Portal, and Service Catalog Automation System/Process Automation (Orchestration).
  • Experience with IT Workflows, ITSM Professional modules such as Mobile & Predictive Intelligence.
  • Knowledge of ITSM/CSM components in ServiceNow.
  • Desired Skill:
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask; sets priorities and follows timelines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, focusing on solving problems, managing roadblocks, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Familiarity with GRC components for applying solutions with an eye toward continuous improvement.
  • Solutions-focused individual.
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ATF Testing Mainframe Automation Agent Integration Education.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, or any engineering field, or equivalent experience. ],
