Job Opportunity:

  • As a ServiceNow Architect, you will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.

About the Job:

  • Lead the overall architecture design and development of ServiceNow implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance for ServiceNow development.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the ServiceNow development team.
  • Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
  • Serve as the lead technical point of contact for clients on all matters related to ServiceNow.
  • Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform testing.
  • Lead platform upgrade activities including regression testing and reconfiguration.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.

Requirements:

  • Obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum 7 years of ServiceNow experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD) and experience serving in an Architect role.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine, Service Portal, and Scoped Apps.
  • Experience guiding senior level clients on ServiceNow strategy and architecture.
  • Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior ServiceNow team members.
  • Well-rounded technology consulting experience desired, to include ability to define requirements, lead client meetings, facilitate UAT, and conduct trainings.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and establish rapport with diverse array of people at all levels.
  • Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.
  • Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF)
  • Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
  • Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
  • ServiceNow Certified Master Architect or Certified Technical Architect certifications.
  • General understanding of financial management aspects particularly in federal environment.
