ServiceNow Administrator

Our client is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Administrator to design, manage, and enhance their IT Operations Management environment. This role will ensure the accuracy, scalability, and strategic growth of the CMDB while driving automation, event management, and data quality improvements. This is a hybrid position based in Dutchess County, NY.

ServiceNow ITOM Administrator’s Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, maintain, and optimize the CMDB in alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Configure and fine-tune ServiceNow Discovery to accurately identify and update Configuration Items (CIs).
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Tenable) and manage Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules.
• Conduct CMDB audits, enforce data governance policies, and eliminate duplicate or outdated records.
• Define and enforce naming standards, change controls, and compliance requirements.

ServiceNow ITOM Administrator’s Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience administering and supporting ServiceNow ITOM modules (Service Mapping, Event Management, Discovery, etc.).
• Strong background in CMDB design, governance, and maintenance aligned with CSDM.
• Hands-on expertise integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems (SCCM, Intune, Tenable, etc.).
• Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools such as Flow Designer, Orchestration, and IntegrationHub.
