ServiceNow Solutions Architect and Technical Manager
Location: Woodlawn, MD (Onsite 5 days per week)
Key Required Skills
Expertise in developing enterprise-wide architecture, leading multiple development and implementations, providing guidance and leadership with development Team Leads. Position Description
- Lead the ServiceNow Architecture development, enhancements and implementations.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders in utilizing ServiceNow for managing enterprise services and enhancements using new technologies (i.e., AI and automation).
- Build roadmaps, provide recommendations, lead development and utilization of new technologies and services to enhance and fully utilize ServiceNow services and capabilities.
- Provide assistance to development teams as needed. Detailed Skills Requirements FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's and 12 years of experience, Master's and 10 years of experience or 18+ in lieu of a degree
- 10+ years of experience as ServiceNow Developer
- 5+ years as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect
- 5+ years leading ServiceNow development teams
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE (Required Skills) These skills will help you succeed in this position:
- Required ServiceNow required certification: o Certified System Administrator (baseline) o Certified Application Developer (baseline)
- ServiceNow CIS certification in multiple areas: o CIS - Customer Service Management o CIS - IT Service Management o CIS - Discovery o IS - Service Mapping o CIS - Strategic Portfolio Management o CIS - Application Portfolio Management o CIS - Software Asset Management o ?CIS - Hardware Asset Management
- 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
- 5+ years of experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies
- 5+ years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR
- 5+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.)
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.
- Ability to work in a high growth, fast paced environment
- Excellent understanding of system architecture, design principles, and impacts
- Experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.)
- Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly
- Experience with the US Federal Government
HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills) Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
- Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java
- Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow
- Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols
- Experience with Business Rules, Workflow, Identification Rules, Workspaces and External Portals
- Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP
- Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM or HR
- Project Management or Agile certification
- ITILv4 Foundations Certification Education
- Bachelor's and 12 years of experience, Master's and 10 years of experience or 18+ in lieu of a degree
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
