ServiceNow CMDB Architect Position Overview

A top client is seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Architect to join their team. Job Description

The ServiceNow CMDB Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow, including Discovery and CMDB, as well as experience with integrating ServiceNow with external systems via APIs and MID Servers.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and IT governance frameworks, and be proficient in ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and scripting. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for diverse stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including Discovery and CMDB.
• Strong background in integrating ServiceNow with external systems (e.g., via APIs, MID Servers).
• Solid understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and IT governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript).
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for diverse stakeholders.
