A Day In The Life As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer, you will focus on enhancing user experience by optimizing workflows and identifying low-code solutions for both technical and business stakeholders. Your expertise in process engineering will be vital in enhancing the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless integration and superior functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance User Experience: Design and implement user-centered workflows on the ServiceNow platform for intuitive use.
- Process Optimization: Apply your process engineering expertise to optimize workflows, increasing overall efficiency.
- Low-Code Solutions: Collaborate with business units to pinpoint and develop low-code opportunities that meet specialized needs and promote process improvements.
- Feedback and Adoption: Create feedback mechanisms with end-users to gather input and encourage the adoption of ServiceNow solutions across the enterprise.
- Training and Support: Offer training and support to end-users, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Best Practices: Stay updated on releases and solutions, applying ITIL/ITSM best practices while prioritizing quality assurance and security in all implementations.
- Team Support and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot production issues effectively, managing time independently to meet deadlines.
What We Expect From You:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years in a relevant field or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years concentrating on ServiceNow UX design and creating user-friendly interfaces.
- 5+ years developing ServiceNow solutions aligning with business and customer objectives.
- 8+ years delivering IT solutions for various business initiatives.
- Platform Management: Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM and IAM standards for service catalogs and knowledge bases.
- Employee Experience: Proven success in enhancing ITSM Pro capabilities for improving employee efficiency and engagement.
- UX Design: Experience delivering cohesive, user-friendly experiences across multiple platforms.
- Workflow Engineering: Expertise in both refined and low-code process engineering driving business results.
- Automation and Integrations: Proficient in utilizing automation tools and integrations, including Integration Hub and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Certified System Administrator required.
- IT Service Management certification preferred.
- Certified Application Developer preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements Office: The physical demands described here are representative of those necessary for an associate to successfully perform essential job functions. Daily tasks involve data analysis, communication, and remaining stationary for significant periods while frequently accessing and retrieving information from computers and office devices. Associates regularly move around the office and corporate campus, with the necessity to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements 10% as needed for business-related travel to other sites, including out-of-state locations.
