Join our team as a Lead Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow development! This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform, including custom application development, scripting, and integration. We are looking for someone who is not just technically proficient, but also understands modern engineering practices that enhance automation and integration in an AWS-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable solutions across various ServiceNow products and modules.
  • Build and manage custom applications and scripted REST APIs within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Work closely with Product Management and stakeholders to gain insights into business challenges and deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Facilitate integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as grooming, refinement, and retrospectives to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Monitor deployed solutions to ensure their performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Stay updated on platform capabilities, industry trends, and best practices, sharing your knowledge with the broader engineering community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven track record as a Senior ServiceNow Developer with extensive platform knowledge.
  • Strong background in engineering and operations, particularly in managing a CMDB.
  • Proficiency in custom application development, scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITSM best practices.
  • Experience with code releases and deployments using scoped applications and automated pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Knowledge of AWS engineering practices is advantageous and the ability to collaborate with cloud-native teams is essential.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or integration tasks is a strong plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary range of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00, dependent on location and the candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may also qualify for additional compensation, including an incentive program.
