The Opportunity
TECKpert is seeking a ServiceNow Development Manager to support our client, a government agency in Tallahassee, FL. The role will oversee and coordinate the development of complex IT product and solution initiatives on the ServiceNow platform. The selected candidate will manage delivery schedules, technical integration, and product performance while ensuring alignment with business goals and technology standards.
The Product Development Manager will serve as a liaison between business owners and technical teams, balancing priorities with technical constraints, ensuring smooth delivery of new features, and facilitating adoption. This is an onsite role with flexibility in work hours and occasional weekend coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee delivery of ServiceNow products and enhancements from planning through implementation
- Manage and communicate product roadmaps, release schedules, and delivery milestones
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and enterprise architects to ensure solutions meet requirements and standards
- Track and report on development status, readiness, and risks
- Translate business needs into actionable delivery plans, ensuring alignment with resources and budgets
- Support prototyping, technical evaluations, and solution testing
- Coordinate change management, communications, and training for product adoption
- Ensure smooth transition of functionality into operations with proper user support
Compensation and Term
This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $125,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
Qualifications You Need
A successful candidate has the following experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent work experience acceptable
- 7+ years of IT product development or project delivery experience, including software lifecycle management
- 5+ years leading cross-functional teams delivering technology solutions in enterprise or government environments
- Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow implementation, configuration, and support
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum or iterative delivery methodologies
- Knowledge of government IT governance and procurement processes preferred
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint 365, and collaborative planning platforms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences
