Our team of experts in biomedical science, software engineering, and program management focuses on developing and applying research tools and techniques to empower decision-making and accelerate research discoveries.

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our Platform team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), supporting the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) located in Rockville, MD. This role will be responsible for configuring our ServiceNow platform to ensure it meets the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers to establish timelines, specifications, and solutions.
• Determine problem areas within the current framework and recommend improvements.
• Develop processes with ServiceNow that enhance user access and navigation.
• Implement and monitor changes to ensure smooth transitions.
• Conduct staff training on new procedures.
• Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform bug fixes for clients and end-users.
• Experience implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, including configuring an ITSM service catalog.
• ServiceNow Administrator Fundamentals certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Sound judgment, positive attitude, and creative outlook required.
