Platform ServiceNow Expert

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a ServiceNow platform expert.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leverages technical expertise to lead the delivery and ongoing enhancement of the ServiceNow platform within an Agile delivery team, following a regular sprint cadence.
• Drives technical requirements for assigned platform capabilities and supporting technologies, serving as the technical subject matter expert (SME).
• Develops platform maturity roadmaps, aligning with business objectives and technical needs, while identifying opportunities for standardization, automation, and optimization.
• Designs, configures, and maintains platform capabilities, services, and environments in accordance with platform maturity roadmaps and best practices.
• Manages project delivery and develops technical documentation, ensuring compliance with internal technology governance standards.
• Establishes and enforces platform standards and guidelines based on industry best practices, communicates expectations to technical teams, and ensures adherence to established protocols.
• Participates in procurement processes, including developing and evaluating Requests for Proposals, and oversees the performance of external resources.
• Proactively detects risks and issues, offers solutions to overcome barriers, and delivers advanced levels of platform administration, troubleshooting, and remediation support.
• Fosters and maintains positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Encourages knowledge sharing through internal technical communities and resources, promoting a collaborative, team-based culture.
• Applies Agile methodologies and drives continuous improvement in delivery performance through reporting, backlog development, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
