We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Solution Developer to play a critical role in designing and deploying ServiceNow solutions.
Solution Discovery & Design: Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business outcomes and functional requirements into effective ServiceNow solution designs.
Technical Implementation: Implement ServiceNow solutions to meet designed requirements, ensuring solutions align with industry best practices.
Data Migration: Support data migration design and activities from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency during the transition.
Integration Management: Assist architects and senior developers in integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications to create seamless end-to-end processes.
Documentation: Create detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, data schemas, and other technical decisions for future reference.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations to validate functionality, data integrity, and user experience.
User Training: Provide training support to ensure smooth adoption of implemented solutions.
Change Management: Support change management efforts by assisting senior developers, architects, and users during the transition period.
Incident and Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.
Security and Compliance: Adhere to security best practices and ensure implemented solutions meet relevant compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
Key Qualifications:
- Certified in one or more mainline certifications, preferably ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist – Human Resources.
- Hands-on experience configuring or building 5 or more ServiceNow applications.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices.
- Current DHS Public Trust and familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
- Strong scripting skills in JavaScript and GlideScript, as well as strong technical skills, including workflow configuration, and business rule development.
Required Experiences and Certifications:
- 5+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
- US Citizenship and current Public Trust or Secret Clearance.
