ServiceNow MariaDB Database Administrator

Job Description:

The Opportunity is to manage MariaDB databases in support of self-hosted ServiceNow environments. As a skilled administrator, you will oversee the configuration, operation, and support of these databases. Your responsibilities will include hands-on management, technical solution development, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate MariaDB databases in a clustered environment
• Develop technical solutions and implement them
• Work with senior leadership and a team on criteria and configuration required for ServiceNow MariaDB
• Provide intermediate to senior level service for ServiceNow and MariaDB
• Understand relational databases and load balancing principles

Qualifications:

• Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementations, including managing and operating MariaDB in a clustered environment
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
• Scripting experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, and ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript
• Active DoD secret clearance
• Certified ServiceNow Developer or Administrator certification
