Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain expertise in Workday, ServiceNow, and related technologies to serve as a super user and functional expert for the People & Communications department and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee system configurations in various P&C functional areas, understanding workflow setup and modifications as required by business needs.
  • Identify global opportunities to leverage P&C systems or application functionalities to support business strategies, processes, and automation.
  • Proactively propose and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance business value.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of new systems, while continuously assessing, managing, and administering existing systems.
  • Collaborate with functional areas, process owners, and business partners on the capabilities of Workday, ServiceNow, and other technologies. Research product roadmaps to recommend best practices for leveraging functionalities to meet business objectives.
  • Act as the lead technology Subject Matter Expert for assigned functional areas.
  • Support projects requiring coordination of multiple resources, ensuring objectives are achieved on time. Manage small to medium-sized projects effectively.
  • Be an active team member in HRIS system projects and initiatives. Clearly communicate deliverables and contribute to project timeline development. Update project plans, define scope, and assist in managing resource requirements.
  • Conduct thorough problem analysis, including issue recreation, leading to effective resolutions.
  • Troubleshoot systems and integration issues, identify root causes, and implement necessary corrections to prevent recurrence.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and/or internal customers to define requirements and make minor system adjustments as needed.
  • Draft, review, and update system documentation as changes or new implementations occur.
  • Oversee Tier 3 inquiries from end users, working alongside HRIS Analysts to investigate root causes and provide resolutions related to system configurations, data integrity, and more.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in HRIS business analysis or related experience.
  • Demonstrated project management skills for small to medium-sized projects while effectively managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with capabilities in systems configuration and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with an ability to engage both technical and functional end users.
  • Proven track record of supporting and implementing initiatives aimed at standardizing, optimizing, and simplifying processes and technical solutions.
