Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create scalable, efficient solutions leveraging multiple ServiceNow products and modules.
- Develop and manage custom applications and scripted REST APIs within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Work closely with Product Management and stakeholders to tackle business challenges, delivering user-centric solutions.
- Integrate ServiceNow seamlessly with other enterprise systems and tools, enhancing interoperability.
- Engage actively in Agile methodologies, partaking in grooming, refinement, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Monitor and support deployed solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Stay up to date with platform capabilities, industry trends, and best practices, sharing valuable insights with the engineering community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong experience as a Senior ServiceNow Developer with comprehensive platform knowledge.
- Extensive background in engineering and operations, particularly in developing and managing a CMDB.
- Deep proficiency in custom application development, scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITSM best practices.
- Experienced in managing code releases and deployments using scoped applications and automated pipelines.
- Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
- Understanding of AWS engineering practices, with a knack for collaborating with cloud-native teams.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation is a significant plus.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary ranging from $99,000 to $165,000 annually, influenced by factors such as job location and the candidate's expertise.
